He's effectively announced, no change. He's said what he will do if the tories are running the show but not so much if there was a ge and labour got in. He knows if he does what momentum want and the London collective, it will seek keeping the single market, keeping free trade, free movement of people, staying with the ecj, still paying in etc etc so brexit in name only, and to announce that before a possible election, will see him lose those traditional labour votes who voted to leave
As far as I can tell, Labour intends to campaign the next GE as a Remain Party, then if they win, hold a 2nd People's Confirmatory Vote on Brexit offering a specially negotiated deal with the EU. What's not clear to me is whether they are going to campaign against themselves and their Remain manifesto in the GE by offering a Brexit Deal, or campaign against a Brexit Deal prior to the 2nd Referendum in favour of remaining in the EU. Can anyone shed any light on this?
