  1. Don’t say you’ve got one of those as well...

  2. It's off an 05 so have no idea if they differ
Obviously it's black. It's in very good order as in structurally but does have a few lil scratches .

  3. Ah...
Should have said red, shouldn’t I.
Thanks, Chiz but by the time I got the unit resprayed, I wouldn’t be very far ahead of where I am with the existing one.

  4. Thought that may be the case mate but if yours was totaled, it may have been an option

  5. Yeah, thanks.
It’s not totalled but is pretty scraped and paint has flaked off where it has flexed.
Perhaps I could bear yours in mind for if I find the existing one is worse than I thought??

  6. No probs...perhaps take yours to a painter ( if you ain't gunna fix yourself) and get a quote/ see if they think ya better or respraying the one I have.

  7. Good thinking :)

  8. Fitted Chiz’s footpeg yesterday but discovered the clearance between hanger and exhaust was pretty much zero, so now worried my hanger may be bent. Can anybody confirm the clearance on their 999 please??
I also discovered that Chiz’s r/h rear indicator housing is actually a l/h one, so if anybody has a spare r/h housing, please let me know.
Still need a sidelight housing too.
    Thanks guys

    It is approx 8-10mm

  10. Bummer.
Do you have big bore exhaust.
Without a hanger to compare its difficult to say its bent you really need a known
    good one to compare to.
If you cant find one locally I can send you mine.

  11. Don’t worry, Chizel has a spare I think I can borrow.
    Many thanks though:)

  12. Could be a good excuse to get some blingy new rearsets

  13. OR, I have a Mivv decat on mine and the pipe is flattened in that area, FWIW the bottom fixing is 2mm from the pipe and looks to have had light contact with no detriment, the upper mount clearance is 8mm. There is some flex in the exhaust system, it may be worth checking that is all sitting where it should be. The peg is fitted fully square to the wheels, if the hanger is twisted it should be obvious.

  14. I have hangers if you need them .

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  15. My pipe is flattened In that area too.
The can is gutted and straight through with Termi sized outlets.
I appear to have no cat.
Will fiddle with the exhaust to see if it’s displaced.
    The peg does appear straight.
