which is why there should be a ‘none of the above’ option. No hiding. A way of saying I don’t trust / believe / want any of you
Why can’t they just buy our votes, all this talk of the NHS and extra policing is just utter nonsense, sovereigns, that’s what’ll motivate us, sovereigns, I tell ya!
If you vote for "None of the Above", you are voting for whichever candidate received the most votes. True fact!
Isn't this a bit like shooting yourself in the foot entirely? I mean if you want any sort of brexit, no matter the level of brexit, then voting for either the Tories or Brexit party is in your best interests? If you don't vote then surely you're effectively opening the door for Corbyns fan club or even worse the Lib Dems? It's not as though a result won't be made if you don't vote, it doesn't work like that
But “None of the above” will be unable to take the oath of allegiance and take their seat in the Commons, so will just reduce the number of votes needed to pass Legislation. A bit like the absent Sinn Fein MPs.
ok then. If ‘none of the above’ wins then anything that the MP would have voted on would have to be voted on by that constituency instead.
