British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Yeah its like hiding under your bed - works everytime!

  2. which is why there should be a ‘none of the above’ option. No hiding. A way of saying I don’t trust / believe / want any of you

  3. Why can’t they just buy our votes, all this talk of the NHS and extra policing is just utter nonsense, sovereigns, that’s what’ll motivate us, sovereigns, I tell ya!

  5. Overheard in Booths!

  6. If you vote for "None of the Above", you are voting for whichever candidate received the most votes. True fact!

  7. Isn't this a bit like shooting yourself in the foot entirely?

I mean if you want any sort of brexit, no matter the level of brexit, then voting for either the Tories or Brexit party is in your best interests?

If you don't vote then surely you're effectively opening the door for Corbyns fan club or even worse the Lib Dems?

It's not as though a result won't be made if you don't vote, it doesn't work like that

  8. And don't forget, it isn't possible to shame a politician or to hurt their (non-existent) feelings.

  10. LOL : o D

    No.

  11. But “None of the above” will be unable to take the oath of allegiance and take their seat in the Commons, so will just reduce the number of votes needed to pass Legislation. A bit like the absent Sinn Fein MPs.

  12. Thus, Alan wants Sinn Fein in charge.

  13. ok then. If ‘none of the above’ wins then anything that the MP would have voted on would have to be voted on by that constituency instead.

  14. That isn't a denial, Alan.

  15. No Loz, I want you in charge, with Finm as your right hand man.
