Well my 2p from a very personal perspective My drug is made by an American company called Biogen. It works for me and I have no side affects which many people do have. It costs the NHS £20,000 a year. In the USA it costs insurance companies $80,000 a year so if Tecfidera gets jacked up to £60,000 a year and the NHS decides its no longer available I will be offered one of the cheaper ones. They are cheaper for a reason. The efficacy is lower and the side affects are worse. I may no longer be able to work as a result. Tecfidera is made in Biogen’s Denmark facility, so this “10%” figure of @noobie is bollocks. Any fool can see that big pharma is dominated by American companies. I have never gone into an election being worried. It’s not much consolation knowing who to blame for it, if it does happen.
