British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  6. Corbyn today was sending out pr emails claiming based on those "documents"

He claimed in an email to supporters - without any evidence whatsoever: "Boris Johnson will work with Donald Trump and corporations to "fly the good flag of services liberalisation"."That means NHS privatisation.

"Imagine opening a five-figure bill for your cancer treatment. Imagine paying to give birth. Paying to have a check-up at the GP. That's what Boris Johnson and Donald Trump want."

when gardiner was asked, where in these documents does it say anyone will be charged at all let alone what has been claimed, het was unable and unwilling to say they were not even in the documents, corbyn had made it up.

  7. It is true I like a pint or three. But never too drunk, but would never drive after two. I drink more days a week than I don't, however it's not unusual in my demographic group. I'd rather see the world through a Guinness glass than Scotland through those rose tinted ones you wear :yum

  8. It was also clarified last weeks labour claim of £500 million more a week extra in pharma

The nhs has had American pharma companies trying to put our prices up for decades and due to the buying power of the nhs, we have always negotiated well but still only buy 10% of our drugs from the U.S.

Labours document claiming £500 million a week extra on pharma was based on
    (1) Us paying full price on the drugs sold to us by the USA
    (2) Then applying the full price on the other 90% of drugs sold to us by countries other than the USA

when questioned why labour was being so missleading, he seemed to shove the blame on the reports author

  9. how about you disprove them?
don't waist yer time with the PISA results, discredited already as it favors a more eastern style of education. its the results at the end that count.

  12. Labours version, that's why there was so many guesses and false claims in it

  13. No chance, it doesn't work like that. You make a statement, then you should be able to back it up with some credible evidence.

But don't worry; I shall take it as just your opinion and not substantiable, perhaps something you might have heard down the pub?

  14. Well my 2p from a very personal perspective

My drug is made by an American company called Biogen. It works for me and I have no side affects which many people do have.

It costs the NHS £20,000 a year.

In the USA it costs insurance companies $80,000 a year

so if Tecfidera gets jacked up to £60,000 a year and the NHS decides its no longer available I will be offered one of the cheaper ones. They are cheaper for a reason. The efficacy is lower and the side affects are worse. I may no longer be able to work as a result.

Tecfidera is made in Biogen’s Denmark facility, so this “10%” figure of @noobie is bollocks. Any fool can see that big pharma is dominated by American companies.

I have never gone into an election being worried.

It’s not much consolation knowing who to blame for it, if it does happen.

  15. i say it, you disprove it. that's debate. normally we have a 24/7 noobcheck service. tho he seems a lil reluctant to intervene today.

  16. One of the dumbest things I have ever read

like scotland wasn’t already divided by sectarianism

  17. Two weeks before the last general election yougov gave the results of a very sophisticated MRP poll which predicted a hung parliament. It was very accurate in predicting the number of seats for labour and the Tories being out by 4 and 8 respectively. At the time other polling firms laughed as they were all predicting a Tory win

tonight they have released a new MRP poll

    YouGov MRP:
    Conservatives 359,
    Labour 211,
    SNP 43,
    LD 13,
    Plaid 4,
    Green 1

Strong Tory majority = hard brexit
    Corbyn is toast
    Constitutional crisis
    Swinson is toast

  18. You know it’s true. Suck it up.

What’s also true is that sectarianism only applies to the middle belt. The SNP have managed to divide the WHOLE country. The horrible cunts....

  19. in what way? by representing the views of the majority that bothers to vote?
what credible evidence have you seen or have that can demonstrate creating division outside of political disagreement can you provide.
islamophobia? anti Semitism?, anti LGBT? Sectarianism?
    Rich? Poor?
