What nelly said. The mechanical speedo drive on the 748 is taken from the front wheel. A nice pair of period Marchesini 5 spoke would look nice. Andy
im seriously thinking of going with theses... they are the s4rs ones. anyone tell me if the front is a direct fit? i would have thought so...
no probs with the rear. The front will need the discs and a few other bits to fit. Don’t know where you’d get the pick up for the speedo drive though....
Not sure mate. @Zhed46 might be the man for this. I think that’s what he bought the BST wheels for but I can’t remember now if he used a digital dash with a pick up or the mechanical drive.
Looks like an electric one like on my 999 to me https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/192416110900
if i had the money id just buy a whole s4rs.. i quite like em... still, that wouldn't fix the 748 wheel dilemma!
if you can get the front wheel with 6 disc hole mounting chances are it will also be the mechanical speedo drive
