What Wheels For My 748?

  1. I have the OZ Cattiva on my 996, very light, made a big difference to the handing.

  2. @VtwinDave I phoned hps for some and they told me marchrsini don't make um any more.

  3. What nelly said. The mechanical speedo drive on the 748 is taken from the front wheel. A nice pair of period Marchesini 5 spoke would look nice. Andy

  5. well, similar...

  6. im seriously thinking of going with theses... they are the s4rs ones. anyone tell me if the front is a direct fit? i would have thought so...

  7. no probs with the rear. The front will need the discs and a few other bits to fit. Don’t know where you’d get the pick up for the speedo drive though....

  8. so did the s4rs not have a mechanical speedo dive like the 748 and the hub is wider or something?

  9. Not sure mate. @Zhed46 might be the man for this. I think that’s what he bought the BST wheels for but I can’t remember now if he used a digital dash with a pick up or the mechanical drive.

  10. I can’t see one...

  11. Yep, the T9 uses a hall sensor on the rear calliper hanger.

  12. if i had the money id just buy a whole s4rs.. i quite like em... still, that wouldn't fix the 748 wheel dilemma!
