This is the thing, everyone took part knowing only one group would win but even those who lost, understood democracy and were okay with it, so much so, they voted in the referendum anyway. Only when they lost did they cry foul and then sought to turn a national vote, into a local vote, completely undermining their claim of "what about democracy?". None of that matters any more as the U.K. government is taking back control and with the mandate of a U.K. wide vote, are moving forward based on that peoples majority democratic vote Of course, some people who are selective on what democracy actually is and they will continue to whinge till their dying day and they are entitled too. Best they not take part in any future votes though as it seems to stress and confuse them
