  1. how come? Same bike, same day, same dyne, same user.

Sorted timing out too at same time

  2. You need one from a motorcycle. An 848/1098/1198/SF/HM would be an ideal donor.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  3. looks like you have plenty of options but i have an 5AM ecu (from a 996 S4R DP) spare if you need

  4. So wouldn’t need to flash it?

  5. All I’m worried about is running too lean or rich because I’m taking the cat off really. It’s looks and sound over performance for me on this

  6. no the ecu i have would still need to be flashed (you need the s4r 998 full system map, mine has a 996 with slipons map)

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  7. Headers arrived....

  8. On the left with the tape

  9. Mk 1 escort exhaust clamps...:upyeah::)

  10. I don’t get my new s4r until Wednesday but I’m already thinking of replacing the exhaust :D Can’t you just disable the lamba sensor with guzzidiag and remap the existing ecu or is it easier to get a second ecu

  11. My plan is send my ecu to @chrisw to have a DP map added. I don’t intend to sell the bike and even if I did the system would go with it

  12. Mine does not have a lamda sensor? Maybe it is a euro thing only?

  13. Is yours standard system?

Anyone know a good sours]ce for the blanking plugs? The spark does come with lamba holes for custom tuning :upyeah: but I don’t want to put the sensors back in just plug them off.

  14. Yep, except for mufflers. S4R tho, not RS. And not the later testastretta.

  15. Maybe its a testretta thing?

  16. Are they the big proper lambda holes or small ones?

  17. Look one of each. The shorter fatter rear header pipe is bigger than the longer slimmer front header pipe

Haven’t measured yet, just opened and noticed them

  18. You get a small size and the 18mm ones they use on a dyno
Personally I’d get tge small ones replaced with the bigger ones...
it’ll help your dyno operator when the bike rubs like a bag of spanner’s:joy::joy:

  19. It wont be rubbing any spanners, in a bag or not ;)

Any good sources? Pretty sure they have a habit of working loose and lock wiring is a good idea
