  1. Sev - Excellent response, thank you. You are right about something different coming from the rear. With the flatter chain angle the tire spun up while rolling slowly. Intended to wheelie. This bike has never broken loose except in the rain before. But the handling is incredible.

  2. Here is the response from my access to Pierbon. I am in the wrong business.

  3. Pictures of recently modified swingarm for my own bike that soon will be converted into a race bike.
Swingarm modified by Bill Simpson Racing Scotland.

  4. What arm length? Beautiful work.

  5. Without starting a new thread has anyone access to these weld on perch replacements?

  6. Speedymoto used to make them but I don't think they do anymore.

  7. I have a company cutting me 20 pair with 2 holes. They use waterjet to cut so edge will be real smooth.

  8. Back to the cutting and chopping. I opened up the Donor arm wider than I needed to in order to see inside and measure. I have also used a this piece of aluminum to get an idea of the radius and taper back to the top.

  9. Ok trough with experimenting. Here are the final cuts and fitting of the SF swingarm It can be adjusted from 510mm to 540. With the 200/60 or the 200/65 the hole got real big. But it clears warmers no matter how it's adjusted.

  10. Fair shout to all of the effort your making to try and get the final result. Looking at the picture that does look really close especially if your want to play around with tyre pressures and taking into consideration when the tyre warms up. Good luck with all of the versions your trying.

  11. All the way forward and all the way back. The full forward will not be used. Call that :15 after the sweet spot is :20 to :40 in order to maintain rear ride height. However the 200/60 keeps it up there al-be-it with poor chain angle.

  13. Short update. I have had a time with the welder. That will work out. Gearing has become quite hard. Every time I put a set together it wants to be 1/2 link off. I have a couple of high gear options working on both the long and short arm. 15/36 , 14/36 14 & 15/38. Anything past 39 like 40 thru 43 put the height wrong or bind at the speed sensor. It was 65 degrees today and i'm screwing around with sprockets.

  14. Lots of testing going on. Both swingarms have been cut and welded. Sorry - so long... I had a stroke. Yep - 1.2 G stops will aggravate an old brain!!!
For now let me say that the fella who said he had a race bike in Georgia with a short swingarm and just doo the normal stuff rocker arm triple clamp etc. And drop to the third ring on fork. BONUS. Best tight cornering bike ever. Going hiwayay speeds not so much. It will wander off places. As for the long arm well not for me. past 130 smoth and never wanders. Wheelies are gone but so is the violence in the corner. I like the violence on tracks with long 100mph sweeping curves or a wall like Daytona. The long arm at 35mm over stock would be fantastic. Back to the rs arm at 16mm over. If it will clear the 200/60 I can now see why it is only 16mm over. Best of both worlds. Pictures of welds later. FYI I rode one arm hundreds of miles while cutting on it. Without a cover plate with SP3 v3's. Oh - And my gearing is now 15/43 102 links I think. I can finally use 5 an 6th. And stay out of first so I never have to shift through neutral while going fast and braking hard. The tire is close only for shaping. There is no gear combination that will let you run that anyway. It is amazing how few sprocket sets actually work without a half link. I am not running a half link over 5hp...
