V4 Aftermarket Levers?

  1. I noticed that too but if you look through the model fitment list on the lever page the V4 is listed. Not sure why it doesn't come up on the search.
    Ducati, Multistrada V4, 2021-2022
Ducati, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, 2022-2022
    Ducati, Multistrada V4 S, 2021-2022
    Ducati, Multistrada V4 S Sport, 2021-2022

  2. I agree, Pazzo makes nice stuff and I've been quite pleased with their levers that I've had on several other bikes but so far, no fitment for the V4S. Confirmed that by email from one of their US distributors.

  3. The F-99/H-11 is interchangeable for all Panigales including the V4, Monster 1200, Streetfighter V4/S and Multistrada 1200/1260.
Unless I'm mistaken, the Multi V4 has the same Brembo MC as the Panigale V4's. No reason why they would not fit.
I think the website just has not been updated yet.

  4. I know what you're saying. I've even checked part numbers of the stock V4/S levers against other Ducatis and they are the same but I've read of a couple cases where guys have tried to install levers from a different model and while they do fit on the master cylinder they don't have the pin to activate the second switch on the clutch side. That switch apparently affects operation of the cruise and quick shifter and from what I've read the clutch side is always the problem.

You may be perfectly correct in which case there are lots of options. It does seem weird to me that if it's exactly the same lever as other models use that it would take manufacturers so long to update their fitment lists. CNC Racing makes a set for the V4/S and the fitment list shows a whole raft of bikes for the brake lever but only the V4/S/Sport/Pikes Peak for the clutch. That's enough to make me suspect of non-specific lever fitting properly.

Ultimately I'm trying to buy a set of levers that I know will fit so I don't have to return them. Especially if I order from overseas.

  5. @Jetpilot5
The F-99/H-11 also fits the SF V4 which has cruise and quick shifter.
I would just call Pazzo or alternatively check the parts catalogue for both the SFV4 and the Multi V4 to see if the cluch MC are the same.

  6. Just got an email back from the very responsive folks at Pazzo Racing after I emailed to ask if they had levers available for the 2021+ Multistrada V4S.

    Hi Roger,
Unfortunately we do not yet have a fitment for this bike. It is on our to do list.
I have added your request to file and will let you know as soon as one comes available.

A little more digging around on the parts diagrams show the clutch lever on the 1260S, SFV4 and the Multi V4/s all look to be the same up to the lever pivot, the 1260S even has the same part number as the V4/S, but beyond that the parts are different. Master cylinders and microswitches all have different part numbers and the diagrams clearly show two switches on the Multi V4/S microswitch and only a single switch on the 1260S and SFV4 microswitch, if that makes sense. While the SFV4 does have cruise I believe the Multi V4/S was the first that allowed you to shift using the clutch without disengaging the cruise. Perhaps that has something to do with the second switch.

While levers from other Ducatis would most certainly fit I have doubts the clutch side would work like it's supposed to unless fitment specifically says it's for the Multi V4/S but I'd be happy to be wrong.

  7. Good detective work. Many MTSV4 owners will appreciate that.

  8. You can indeed use the q/s on the V4 Multi when the cruise is activated..

  9. Not only can you use the quick shifter, you can shift using the clutch as long as you don't hold the clutch in for too long. Cruise will stay engaged.

  10. My dealer is fitting the Gilles levers from my 1260 onto my Pikes Peak. If they have any issues, I’ll update the thread.

  11. I fitted these beauties last weekend… expensive but fully adjustable (reach and sensitivity) Performance Technology (Ducabike) Ultimate Levers… all went well until I realised I had damaged one of the clutch micro switches which knocked both front and rear radars(cruise control) out… trip to local Ducati dealer fixed it but at additional £140 cost for the new micro switch and labour. Everything set up perfectly and working brilliantly now though!

  12. They look very good and this is an upgrade I'd like to do (once my PP arrives). Out of interest, what happened with the micro switch? Was it a case of they are too fragile when removing or even not designed to be removed?

  13. Looks good. Just out of interest, is the bash plate on your bike painted, powder coated or is the the PP equivalent part? Aiming for that exact look!

  14. the micro switches are very fragile and I knocked it when I was removing the OEM levers… didn’t realise until too late… really recommend these levers though.

  15. Ducati Leeds were selling a brand new silver bash plate off very cheap so I bought it amd paid £75 to have it powder coated. I also bought the black Pikes Peak rear foot peg/exhaust hanger… and Ducabike rear brake/gear shifters… again not cheap but at least I can revert the bike back to stock when I eventually sell… or sell the silver parts off separately.

  16. Does the clutch lever adjust the bite point at all? Interested to know how the second adjuster works.

  17. Yes, clutch adjusts bite point and brake sharpens/softens up brake point… not massively but it does.

  18. Many thanks. You were very fortunate to get a spare bash plate - I'll need to keep my eyes peeled! Last question, I see you have the accessory hand guards fitted - are they much heavier than the stock plastic versions? I need a bit more weight at the end of the bars, and have been thinking about the Evotech guard protectors - the Ducati ones look so much better, though, and if Ducati Manchester have another 20% off sale...

  19. they are heavier than the stock plastic efforts… much better quality though. I ordered in the last sale via Ducatistore (Manchester) and arrived this week.

  20. Brilliant. That's what I needed to hear. Many thanks!
