I’ve ordered the ASV levers from Calsport, they’re listed for the V4, so I’ll get the dealer to fit them at the first service this week.
Installed Evotech long levers this week and just got in from a 95 mile test ride. No problems with the install and everything works like it should. You can see the Evotech long levers are still a bit shorter than the OEM Lever. For me the clutch is essentially a three finger operation now and the brake I've always used two even with long levers. I was surprised how much better I like the brake lever over stock. It was the reach to the clutch lever that convinced me to make the change. In these picture both stock and Evotech levers are set to minimum distance from the bar, just to give an idea of the difference. Sorry for the smashed bugs.
That’s good. The ASV didn’t fit my bike, so I’ve gone with the Evotech shorty levers instead. Will see what they’re like when I get my bike back in a couple of weeks.
It’s at the dealers. First service, full system going on, then it’s going off for paint correction and PPF, along with the V2. The swirls and scratches on the gloss black panels were really noticeable in direct sunlight. I’m in the US next week, plus we’re having our patio done & I needed the garage empty, so it made sense to get everything done at the same time.
The standard clutch lever seems a bit if a mismatch to me. I’m already used to using the clutch with just two fingers on my short Evotech lever.
Hi All, I’ve been watching this thread for a while while waiting for my V4s Multi and just got it Yesterday, I saved the ASV levers from my Streetfighter V4s thinking they would fit, BRC550 and CRC550, (also in ASV fitment chart for the Multi V4) the brake is fine but like other chaps have said the clutch does not have the second tab to operate the quick shift micro switch, a quick email to ASV and they came back saying they would send me a tab that screws to the lever to operate this switch, so it looks like they have sussed the issue and will most likely add the tab into the lever box in the future, great service by Bob at ASV. also interestingly Cal Sport list the BRC552 and CRC530 for the Multi V4 going against the ASV fitment chart
That’s interesting. Keep us posted once you have the tab, and all is fitted and working, as that would be useful to know exactly what is needed.
Will do, to fit the ASV CRC 550 to a Ducati you have to fit the bump stop tab supplied in the kit, I’m thinking the tab for the switch would just be a modification the the bump stop extending it to do both jobs. ASV seem to have levers that with the addition of certain tabs, plungers and shims can fit a multitude of bikes saving them production costs, whereas the Ducabike levers are produced model specific hence the high cost if you go for the Evo or Ultimate.
Just changed my OEM V4S levers to these from Conquest Racing, Ducabike Ducati Multistrada V4 Adjustable Brake + Clutch Levers GP2 2021+ | Conquest Racing Ltd Very easy to fit and much better than the OEM ones - For me at least! Thanks to #MutleyV4S for the links. If anyone has issues with hand / fingers then this is a good solution, they are flatter and more comfortable than the OEM levers. All I have to do now is get ride fit after a hand operation and 7 weeks off the bike! Just a note on the brake lever side if you set them too close to the bars - position 1 - then you can't activate "hill hold" I had to go to P2 and then it worked .
