Just waiting on the part to come one final question how is the Speedo worked out will the sprocket change the Speedo accuracy at all
Check but I think the speedo pick up is from the ABS ring, so the speedo reading will remain the same. Any pick up from the rear wheel and the speedo reading will remain constant. Any pick up from the front sprocket or gearbox and the speedo reading will change with a drive ratio change.
You may need an impact wrench to release the front sprocket nut, and ensure you tighten back to the required torque, I dot know what this is for the multi. Get a hexagonal socket, you will be less likely to damage the nut on removal.
No change for the speedo, it's picked up from the front wheel. Yes to an impact driver. You can pick up a cheap electric one from ebay/Amazon. I think mine is a Clarke and it's more than up to the job. You'll need it for the back wheel too, so worth the investment. You will also require the manual dexterity of a surgeon to replace the front sprocket, it's bloody tight in there. Ignore anyone that says it can't be done without splitting the chain (but it does make it a load easier), it can, just needs plenty of patience.

Thinking about it, I've been married for so long that if I was now suddenly in the position of pulling a ladies gear off for the first time I'd also have to ask you guys for advise.

The results are in Pull off is better but not as improved as I thought I would class it as just about manageable now revs at 70 have gone up so sixth gear is more useable one thing which seems to be good the gearing seems to be more suited to my riding style round corners now will carry on putting some miles on and hopefully improve the way I ride it
I would recommend going up 2 teeth on the rear sprocket, it’s the icing on the cake. Smooths it all out.
Do you know how this will affect the top speed or the gearing? Will I need to replace the chain ? I’m abit reluctant to change the gearing anymore it already tries to constantly pull wheelies already
