  1. Have you considered SpokieDokies. I'm sorry. I'll get my coat.

  4. I don't do rim tape, but I agree the black wheels are  and Ducati need to bring back the gold wheels.

  5. Zeus,
I've done it before and even though I say it myself, I am not too bad at applying the tape 'free-hand'.
Now watch for all of the smutty remarks that will undoubtedly emanate from this bunch 'on-ere'!

  6. I think Vulturebike do some slightly more subtle ones (and some lairy ones)

  7. Sorted, I've got some from Awesome Graphics, Grant Appleby, the previous guys I got some from.
Not lairy or 'in your face', so with luck, not too offensive

  8. I've not heard the term 'rim tape' since I escaped prison... I mean since my CBR days back in 2002!!!

To the OP, I think they are called wheel decals now unless you still want to install the reflective tape all the way round.

I did actually fit some to my old Hyperstrada as I do think black wheels can look a bit boring...

But I went for the OEM look with the Multi.

  10. what colour is that, looks way better than any of the other golds

  11. Not sure exact ref, dealer had em done before I picked up the bike. Subtle gold to kind of tie into engine cases. I can ask him if anyone wants specific ref.

  12. No, don’t worry!

  13. I really like the gold wheels, but if it came like that standard and someone painted them black, I’d really like them too!

  15. Personally I like it

  16. How did you install the red centre pieces on the wheel? I tried on the SF, but it was a disaster.

  17. Evotech crash bobbins, spindle mounted through the hub

  18. No, I was asking Jim how he applied the decals!

  19. I actually installed it in January time so it was pretty cold in the garage where I did so used a hairdryer to warm up the wheel and the decal. It comes as a whole piece so the main thing is getting it where you want it but was able to reposition a few times before deciding to go for it.

I used a plastic applicator that I got with the Invisframe kit I installed on my e-MTB which was quite useful for removing any bubbles. Quite surprisingly they seemed pretty easy to do as I rushed them a little doing then in an evening when it was dark and cold! The wheel decals were definitely easier than the fairing decals to install!
