  8. He could but neither permission or forgiveness would be obtainable without spending the equivalent on something for his good lady Wife. The internet can both be a blessing and a curse sometimes.:D

  9. Just wrap the treadmill in nice wrapping paper and give it her as a Valentine’s present :upyeah: with the understanding she can’t store it in the garage “it’s too cold out there love, you don’t want to be running out there, better to do it indoors”. Job jobbed.

  13. V4Swheels.jpg Received some nearly new Mutley V4S wheels/tyres so I can get the originals fitted with sports rubber and powder coated gold! as they should have been from new (IMO) . Swapped the spares in and found my originals (1.5yrs /3.5K miles old) have very stiff bearings that I cant turn by hand in both wheels with signs of rust coming from one of the rear bearing seals These are the OEM Chinese NSKs so I suspect Ducati have been supplied with a bad batch (lack of grease from new/poor tolerance spec?) or Chinese NSK bearings are just crap regardless.

  15. Mot’d the Honda scrambler, passed with advisory for chain adjustment which I checked when I got home with the book and it’s well in spec. It’s really annoyed me for some reason.

  16. Sending over some graffiti cans for that all important revenge.!

  17. Thanks but he does 9 vehicles for me so I can’t upset him. Plus he is a Ducati owner.

  18. Next time do your homework and tell him at that moment intime that's he wrong.:)

  19. I did tell him because I knew I was right but he wouldn’t have it and it ended in agree to disagree. It really shouldn’t have bothered me as much as it has but I’m very fussy about my bikes. 32 years and I’ve never had a motorbike fail an mot and I want to keep that record.

  20. You did well to get those wheels :upyeah:

Also, you’re not alone in experiencing an issue with your rear wheel bearings
