Received some nearly new Mutley V4S wheels/tyres so I can get the originals fitted with sports rubber and powder coated gold! as they should have been from new (IMO) . Swapped the spares in and found my originals (1.5yrs /3.5K miles old) have very stiff bearings that I cant turn by hand in both wheels with signs of rust coming from one of the rear bearing seals These are the OEM Chinese NSKs so I suspect Ducati have been supplied with a bad batch (lack of grease from new/poor tolerance spec?) or Chinese NSK bearings are just crap regardless.
Mot’d the Honda scrambler, passed with advisory for chain adjustment which I checked when I got home with the book and it’s well in spec. It’s really annoyed me for some reason.
