Dead easy, I could probably have got away without bending the bracket but the plastic was sat hard up against the horn. A slight mod satisfied my OCD! The horn mounts facing the nearside. 20 minute job.
4 x 4mm(?) screws hold the black plastic cover under the nose cowl. 10mm on the back of the horn and 12mm holds the bracket on the bike.
Well the PP V4 is a revelation in many ways, not least it has a working back brake! A real novelty for a MTS… no neutral to be found though :-/
Not yet. Was going to do it when I finished work, but ended up putting the new Weber together instead! Will do it one night in the week.
https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/covers-for-multistrada-v4-side-deflectors.95173/ I leave you here the new improvement that I have made to the PP. I wish you like it.
The PP Facebook page has a post about the Evotech tail tidy. I’m not a member so don’t think a link would work. In a nutshell the cover is a water trap. So drill two holes in the rear, there’s two raised domes that appear to be the right place. Also, the cover fits inside the rear radar. I checked and I’d fitted the cover outside. Now on, I think, correctly.
Disconnected the battery, tightened everything up and this came on, DES. Been out for a ride and seems ok, but the light hasn’t gone out. Any ideas? https://i.imgur.com/IGy0uN2.jpg
I think it's the calibration for the electronic suspension. I had a flat and the RAC guy started my v4s up on the center stand, and it wanted to re-calibrate the suspension afterwards as it got confused! (but the std multi v4 has different suspension)
