  2. Gawd... I never realised they did rear sprockets that small. :astonished: It must have been just off idle at the ton.

  7. Probably the same on my Darmah... although I suspect that may just be down to an over optimistic speedo :D

But I know what you mean, long legged doesn't begin to describe it but there's not much better than the easy speed it provides. Although the clutch & chain might complain.

  8. It was measured at around 140mph by Performance Bikes at a frenzy with some revs left but it never sounded stressed

  16. Standard gearing on a Bevel 900SS gives 70 mph @ 4,200 rpm. Back in the day fitted with a 16th gearbox sprocket and a 36th rear my old bevel (which I still own and ride) would pull 110 mph @ 6000 rpm and return 60 mpg whilst doing it.

  17. Grand Tour, someone has actually bought the red calipers!
(I mean you actually have to buy a whole new set of calipers if you want to do this, not just pay an upgrade price)

I thought the rest of the overall colour scheme was nice, the finish is 'not quite' matt, feels nice and would probably be ok to keep clean.
