Gawd... I never realised they did rear sprockets that small. It must have been just off idle at the ton.

On mine it's about 6000 at 100. Strange gearbox ratios

 

Indiana converted to flat tracker, only the second one I’ve seen.

 

Is she saying that her legs go behind her head................

Probably the same on my Darmah... although I suspect that may just be down to an over optimistic speedo

But I know what you mean, long legged doesn't begin to describe it but there's not much better than the easy speed it provides. Although the clutch & chain might complain.

 

It was measured at around 140mph by Performance Bikes at a frenzy with some revs left but it never sounded stressed

 

What make is it mate ?

Most owners removed them no use as ornament nor decoration.

 

That’s a no from me.

 

it was.. timewarp and an excuse to carry on with an Ugly for a bit longer.

 

Standard gearing on a Bevel 900SS gives 70 mph @ 4,200 rpm. Back in the day fitted with a 16th gearbox sprocket and a 36th rear my old bevel (which I still own and ride) would pull 110 mph @ 6000 rpm and return 60 mpg whilst doing it.

Grand Tour, someone has actually bought the red calipers!
(I mean you actually have to buy a whole new set of calipers if you want to do this, not just pay an upgrade price)

I thought the rest of the overall colour scheme was nice, the finish is 'not quite' matt, feels nice and would probably be ok to keep clean.
