It can be a real headache sometimes. Have you checked out some dedicated motorcycle parts websites like RevZilla or BikeBandit? They usually have a pretty wide selection.
Maybe slightly less, I personally managed close to 15k on the 530 and got more like 13k after, but the quick change sprockets are like £40. I don't believe I went up a size in length as I read on this forum post that you could just run the ecentric at it's shortest and the ride height wasn't a problem for me. For the front sprocket I used: 52613-15. There is a slight width difference but I can't say I noticed much and I guess it could be shimmed to spec. The rear AFAM part no are: 50803-40, 50803-42 The US sell superlight 530 AFAM sprockets for the carriers, but I've never found an EU supplier, so I am guessing they don't meet some regulation.
Same prob finding OEM rear from Ducati in the States, back ordered with no real date in site. bought a 14 front and DID 530 ZVMX 114 that I will cut down as necessary - wanted to go 14/40, so just one down in the front for a bit more torquey fun - after market solutions are equally unavailable for rears - not in stock. I've included a photo - sorry no bin...
Availability of the std 40T rear isn't a problem here in the UK, especially non OEM. The 42T, on the other hand, is a little harder to find. Within the EU even easier for both. Given the popularity of the Multi and the fact that the same sprocket is used for both the 1200 DVT and 1260 across 7 years of production I'm aghast that the std rear sprocket is a hard find in the US. Hope you manage to locate one, 14/40, or 15/42, FD ratio is a great improvement unless all you do is ride the super-slab.
I bought one of these in January for €72, now most places are selling them for more like €120 At €85 it doesn’t look a bad deal. 42 teeth. Although I bought through Canosport but they’ve put the price right up. Check it’s the right fit!!!!! https://www.motosmanu.com/coronas/esjot-acero-50-35059-42-dientes-280661.html I got a 14 tooth front and an Afam chain + 2 links. Result. Or try Germany for the rear, that’s where they’re manufactured.
If you live in the EU, but the landed price in the UK is back up around £120, possibly more, thanks Brexit.
Its not much help, but I bought the following from Carpimoto, which including shipping came to £160. Unfortunately it seems to be out of stock as the chain isn't available, but perhaps you could get the chain elsewhere https://www.carpimoto.com/en-GB/Bik...it/16233_DU-RK-1252S-2-RK-530GXW-Chain-15.htm https://www.carpimoto.it/en-GB/4948...eel-Rear-Sprocket-Ducati-Multistrada-1200.htm https://www.carpimoto.com/en-GB/465...ront-Sprocket-for-Ducati-Multistrada-1200.htm https://www.carpimoto.com/en-GB/396...Retairner-Plate-replaces-DUCATI-85110041A.htm
