So what have you done today..?

  1. And on a less bah & humbug tone I went on a lovely and rather jolly biff on the Darmah on a crisp & sunny autumnal morning to the Cassic Motor Hub.... eee she's running real well at the moment.

Photos in the random photo thread.

  3. that's a friend's car. :upyeah:

  4. Careful. Like most insufferably self-important people, she is incredibly sensitive to criticism, real or imagined. She's made umpteen complaints about fellow barristers to the regulatory body for making disobliging remarks about her online (all of which were dismissed out of hand) and last year she made a huge song and dance about someone warning her not to walk on the grass at Cambridge Uni. Naturally, despite it being a well-intentioned remark by someone who had the temerity not to recognise her, the victimhood got cranked up to 11, there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth and she publicly rended her garments on Twitter about male entitlement and fighting the pATriArcHY and all that malarky.

  5. I must admit I had to google Dr Charlotte and, although it's not my usual choice of reading material, the New Statesman wrote a surprisingly critical piece on her.

  6. As the article quite perceptively states, if you didn’t know better you’d think she was a parody

  7. I shall let you off then!

  8. I’d shag the last one, but would put a pair of socks in her mouth so she couldn’t speak.

  10. Which thread does it belong in..? New tyres yesterday.
So, to be fair to them they needed to be scrubbed in today. Effing freezing start to the day, needed a stop at Mcpoisons in Aurillac to thaw out at 11.30. Reward came just after with some awesome, empty roads and superb views.

  13. Woke up just at the right time for the sprint race with three laps in, a good result without spoiling the results for others.
Also thank christ M.L has put his shorts away.

  14. Taxed the MT09 and then took it for 160 mile ride across Staffs., Shropshire, Cheshire and back into Derbyshire.. A lose right hand heated grip made the first part of the journey interesting,.... Soon realised if I turned the heating off things improved , so cold hands it was for the remainder of the journey.

  17. Changed engine oil on the mini clubman, I suspect the head gasket as gone as I can’t find a leak point and it’s losing coolant.

  18. Gym, swim, then a few hours out on the bike with a mate. Steak night tonight, can’t bloody wait!

  19. Had an hour drive in the van, to be at an undisclosed location at 07:15, to collect this for my eldest son, then an hour drive home again, he was offered it for £500 :astonished:
