I thought "treble" was posh speak for "trouble" as in "I'm so sorry to treble you" or "It's no treble dahling"
'I'll give you some time back' Often can be translated into, 'I wasted your time, just not as much as I expected'
I use that. If I book a meeting and it finishes early, they get some time back. Keepng people unnecessarily would be wasting their time.
It's more the phrase, if someone planned an hour long with me, only to let me know 20 minutes in they will give me my time back... I see that 40 minutes wasted unless I've got some shit in backlog to do. Just plan meetings appropriately or send an email lol
Well, I’d rather that than someone book 30 mins that runs to an hour and effs my planning up for the day. Most meetings get in the way of me actually doing anything…..and I’ve found a certain management level do eff all but go to meetings to talk about s**t someone else will have to do.
