No. Sell privately every time. You need to be very desperate for cash to sell to these people or to a dealer, cos you're gonna take a big hit.
My guess is that I'd take a hit of £1.5k between a dealer and a private sale. But I'm only weighing up the options right now.
The big difference between selling privately or to a dealer is time. With a dealer you just agree a price and sign the paperwork, job done, but you lose money. Selling privately is a bit more of a faff and takes longer but you get what you want. Go to webuyanybike.com and you'll just get insulted.
