I've been tinkering with mine since I got it in Sept last year, did most of the stuff over winter. Full bodywork swap to EVO dark and the nose cone from an Corse SE, the nose gets swapped to an oem version for track which has had the lights plastic welded and painted to match the evo dark (Halfords satin black with no lacquer :Bag: ) with home made white number board and WSB style headlight stickers Oberon clutch slave Carbon front mudguard Carbon Mirror covers Black Oberon foot pegs Carbon heel guards Carbon exhaust heat shield Carbon hugger All in one tail light Quick release number plate bracket Ducati Performance Filler Cap Termi slash cuts, filter, ecu R&G crash protection - forks, rear spindle, under panel frame, bar ends Evo tech folding adjustable levers - full size Full gb racing casing covers Ducati Performance Race Seat Custom red decals Rear number plate boards Red pin striping to wheels Clear stomp grips I think that's it ! Some pics.
I just added a motografix numberboard...trackdays, noticed a few extra chips ( got two bubbles halfway down underneath two middle screen screws on opposng sides fo the nose cone, i think i didnt heat that section enough !! arrghhh, not bad though ) Im reluctant to put money into it at the moment. Its already quite perfectly good bike.. Im torn to buy an 848SE, evo or 899....I have a feeling I will be still in same position a few months down the road.
Custom map added by BSD a few weeks back (SO much improved) / new belts.. R1 throttle tube fitted / new red black progrips too.
Nope gonna wrap the tank in Matt, I've got a roll of wrap just not got the balls to do it just yet Yep I like it to now, say a pic on the net of a Matt black 1098 with red frame so I thought I want one of those 2... Don't look the same as the pic, but overall pleased with the cheaper option to convert
I'm ashamed to show mine after that bugger Fastmonkey posted up pics of his I love the white number board and the red lettering on the tank.........................now a bigger CF tank with red lettering mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Really well done sir minimalist modding yet to my eye then bike looks stunning An awful lot (probably me included) have thrown more cash at the bike and not achieved anything as tasteful
Too kind............ I want to see yours though ? Here's the last one so you can see a different angle.
I notice several people have the oberon clutch slave cylinder. how do people rate this mod? I'm finding the clutch on my 848 quite heavy but want to go back to standard length levers from the shotes first before I look at other options.
I've just nicked that photo to add my bike collection photies. I'll drag out my excuse for a Ducati tomorrow so you can all hav a larf John
