Which Of These Clutch Tools Would You Buy?

  1. this is a real memory moment for me i'm ashamed to say, it's possible I used it on a wet clutch by now but would have to offer it up to confirm.

EDIT - part of reply from one of the manufacturers of 'type 3' :- "The problem with the wet clutch is the case depth. It would work but it needs to have a spacer used. I think about 2 inches. The other problem is that Ducati started to use Aluminum baskets with a retainer ring. That wouldn't allow the tool to bottom out against the hub."

  2. Thanks, Chris........I keep looking at the tools available and they all seem to be for the six speed dry clutch engines......so does that mean the set-up for the wet clutch 5 speed version is different, IE different basket diameter / different tooth pattern etc.?

  3. I've used option 3 a few times; now got one going spare after I sold the 748... Do you want it?
