Evo tech crash bobbins now available on their web site. Radiator guards etc. still not available - maybe next week.....
Hi Adie, mine is a Ducati screen. If you want one for the 2013 model, you can buy a genuine Ducati Pikes Peak one or a Conquest Carbon one via the dealer site on here
Hi - I just decided to cut down my Touring Screen - since it was worse than the standard screen to try that before spending another £200 on the carbon screen. Cut 110mm off the top and 2 small corners then a couple of small blend radii. Looks OK to me - maybe a little too high still? In the upper position its the same hight as the standard screen in low position. Hopefully weather will be dry in the morning and I will give it a try.
I want a garage with a floor like that, and a spanner rack like that, and a bench like that and most of all a DVT like that, which I ordered nearly 2 months ago.
THANKS Broke and Harydog. The garage floor was last summers job - 35M2 of tiling on a very rough concrete floor to get it level. (nearly) I got lucky in the end with delivery of the bike - I ordered early June and got delivery end June (3 weeks) - had to travel though for bike - rang round a few dealers to see who had any cancelled orders after being let down by another dealer who quoted me 6 weeks delivery - to change that 2 weeks later to 3 to 4 months. Could have had a white one 2 weeks earlier - but wanted Red...
We all know Simon, red one's are the fastest (await response from bradders) Who was the dealer, was it Riders in Cardiff ?
No - The bike came from Hyside - East London way. The dealer that changed delivery time was GT in Plymouth. I did speak with Cardiff - who also had one in process for July delivery - but the cost to change was more than either of the others. All 3 of the dealers were good to deal with, but Hyside were the most competitive and it turns out they delivered first. After I did the deal with Hyside GT did offer me their S demonstrator at a discount - but I wanted new.
Thanks for the post, i'm also over 6' with a XD4 and have been holding off buying the over priced $400+ carbon screen . So now i'm off to the dealer to order mine
Well took the bike with cut down touring screen out for a 100 mile ride this morning - buffeting has gone - still a little noisy - but thought that's more to do with Arai X4 tour helmet - much quieter than before. But this time when I was out I tried raising the screen - just 1 notch and the noise got worse, 2 notches up and the buffeting came back. So reset to lowest setting - 70mph on cruise control and started straightening myself up. Lifted myself maybe an inch, inch and a half - keeping head level - and it went quite a bit quieter. So decided to lower screen further. Cut another 45mm off it - so now in down position the top of the screen is level with top of mirrors. Test ride on Monday when it goes in for its service - already at 700 miles - so no ride tomorrow.

Quick update on this screen. It's working very nicely indeed. Smooth airflow, no buffeting, much lower noise. I like it a lot.
Hi. Can I assume the Touring screen you cut down was for/from the 2015 model and not the old 10-12 three holer? (ooerr) That would be too sensible of Ducati to keep the holes in the same place?
Hi - yes it was from a 2015 - it was more noisy than the standard screen - so rather than completely waste the money I cut it down. All good.
Hi All Well as I mentioned in another post somewhere I was also getting numb throttle hand from small vibrations (I suffer with this on most bikes I have had) Also the mirrors were squeaking (the mirror mount moving in the housing) So I took off the hand guard ends and inserted some home made weights in the bars - made with Allen bolts, heat shrink and lead shot - to make a sausage. Then I took off the mirrors and using the small cover underneath ( access for nut) - I filled the mirrors with silicone - to bond the mirror front to the housing and add weight. I guess about 1/2 to 2/3 tube of silicone per mirror - so quite a bit of weight. So yesterday I went for a 120 mile ride No numbness at all in my hands - so this extra weight in mirrors and bars changed vibration so not issues. Cut down screen - just air noise - no buffeting - forgot my ear plugs - but was not a big issue. When I was on the fast part of the track the screen works fine till 90 mph - but from 90 up to 130 - you feel the wind pressing at the top of your neck - almost like someone is pulling you from behind with a scarf. Tobers - is yours the same? JimVee - Does the Carbon screen make it any better when your at speed? So for normal road riding these modifications are great.
The Carbon screen for me makes it worse, (Bearable though) the OEM Screen is better for me and far better than my OEM 2014 Screen 5'6" ish tall Hmm I might make up some bar ends
That works carbon cap looks awesome, I can't find them on any uk suppliers sites though, anyone know who might have them and what the price might be?
