In conversation today, I as told that the individual panels did not fit together particularly well. Joint lines were irregular and at least 2 of the fixing holes didn't line up. So basically crap unless your feedback puts a different light on it. Andy
Essential for me Andy. I'm 6'1" and used to find my 1098S uncomfortable to ride before I put the Superpole seat on it, regularly getting leg pain. It's only about an inch taller, but makes all the difference for me. Another benefit is that you stay absolutley planted to the seat, wherever you put your backside, that's where it stays. No more sliding up to the tank when braking and a lot less gripping the bike with your knees to stop moving around. I highly recommend them.

Not sure why Chris included my name on this list. Failed miserably to close a deal - so far :Arghh:. Andy
Sorry Andy, I only went on my (failing) memory just to start the ball rolling. Hope you find one soon.
Oh. I see :-/ My experience of fairing fit - ranging from OEM Ducati stuff to various aftermarket track plastic is that the Corse fibreglass is at the better end of the spectrum. The sides and belly pan are all fixed with dzus fasteners and they go on and off real quick. Slash cut end cans. I have always liked them more than the originals. Never been able to justify the expense. That's plenty tyres
Totally agree, (from a mere 848 point of view). Their carbon fibre stuff in most cases fitted better than the OEM plastics. A bit light on the lacquer but good none the less.
And as of 5 o'clock this afternoon, after months of searching and failing miserably to secure a deal, so am I. All happened literally in hours after a chance meeting in the parts department at Moto Rapido. Andy
It's currently having a belt service and valve clearance check at MRs and if you have a look at the thread "pictures of a naked lady" there are a few of the bike without her clothes. The only significant modification is the 70mm exhaust with slash cut cans. Except for some short levers, DP Corse race change rear sets and a quick release petrol cap, she's bog standard. Registered in March 2008, 6600 miles and 1 owner. Andy Edit : Had a better look now and all standard except for a 70mm Termignoni system with carbon slash cut cans, DP Superpole seat, DP quick action throttle, Renthal folding levers, DP rear sets (race change), DP q/r petrol cap, Renthal q/r rear sprocket, DP carbon swing arm cover and DP carbon heel plates. Not sure if the small carbon hugger is std or not. A
Dunno why, but it feels cathartic writing this... but there is no other bike that delivers a hit and rush like this. Properly keeps me alive.
