  1. I'm going to need some longer gorilla arms if I'm ever going to get my elbow down :)
... or just not sit right at the back of the bike

  4. That was CSS Lvl4 at the Silverstone Stowe Circuit

  5. Fit some cowhorns....:upyeah:

  6. Haha, good plan
    How was portimao ?

  7. Bloody amazing, amazing and also amazing! Few pics below. It's actually a little weird, you're driving around goatfuckvile nowhere and up pops the amazing facility....Has the danger of being a bit of a white elephant unless they can get some major events there. If you're mostly used to flat Silverstone, this place will certainly entertain!
I'll post some track pics soon as I can.

  8. I've heard nothing but great things about the place, so looking forward to going early next year
I ride at Oulton Park and Donington as much as Silverstone, so I like a bit of undulation.
Just got to persuade the mrs that a March trip to the sunshine for her is a good idea as she's still pissed off I'm going to Cartagena without her in a few weeks :)

  9. Married chaps are always the best negotiators IME.:upyeah:
Also plotting ahead for next year.

  10. My father in-law told me, its better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.

It seems to work for him, worked alright for me so far! Managed to swindle Portimao in October!

Just book you and your mrs on to portimao and worry about the consequences after :tonguewink:

  11. Said so ;) and it is a white elephant already

  12. Cross Silverstone for size, with oulton for blind crests, and Cadwell for corner speed and blind apex

  13. Some footage from Silverstone on Thursday
It was a bit drizzly, but still good fun, although I need to learn to trust grip when there's a bit of wet in the air as I'm sure it's fine (as demonstrated by the people that come past me - most of them)
This was session 5, and the first one I put my camera on before it rained properly, and I sulked off home
I'm at Donington on Tuesday, and I've refitted the screen on my bike that lets me put the camera at the front, so this will be the last video of my arse for a while :)

  15. I'll continue to PM then to you Simon, as I don't want you to miss out ;)

  16. Bike drop off for Catalunya. Someone trying to unload their Aprilia from a pickup using a log, plank and pallet ramp. Disaster just waiting to happen, and it did. Luckily some helpful lads were around to save the day. With hedge cuttings still in the pick up, hope the rad is OK.

  17. Crikey, was the bike on its side in the back ?

  18. I don't think so but can't be sure - a mate took the photo.

It's going to be interesting seeing what they're like on track in a weeks time.
