  1. Hello,

    If anyone has anything they’d like featured on the Home Page that is Ducati/motorcycle related that would make a good read please do let me know. At the moment it is all press release stuff (apart from Nog’s excellent blog). It’s be great to get some member content on there. Bike reviews, How To’s, tour reports or what ever would make a good read.

    All content would be credited to the author and linked through to the forum to discuss.

  3. Tough one with this. It’s never good to spoil it for someone, but how long is a good amount of time? No point having the results a few days later as its old news. Maybe a more disguised title with a click-to-view content rather than spoiler on homepage?

  6. This site is really taking off and I love it. Many many thanks to those concerned for taking the time to get this site up and running and like the old site used to this new site now takes up at lest an hour or so of my time every day :upyeah:

    One of the features of the old Ducatisti site that I found really useful was a when you clicked on the 'Bikes' heading it used to bring up the all the dates and specs of that particular model ie 748, 916. I found it by accident but found it really useful if you wanted to know when a particular model was introduced and for how long it manufactured for and was current. Hope that makes sense.

  7. How about a " Bike of the Month " picture/feature, or project being built or maybe a trip someone has been on....

    Really like Bike of the month with a poll for the winner with a feature on the winner on homepage.

  13. An hour a day!! You were lucky. In't old days we had to look at site 25 hours a day on a handful of freezin cold gravel and when we got home at night our dad's would kill us in cold blood.

    You try telling kids of that today, they won't believe you, no.

  14. I am going to do a write up of my old girl this weekend after the new owner has plucked my fingers from the frame to whisk her away.

    But yea, race results, 48 hours after :)

  15. Are you going to put photos of when the 748 was rear ended? Always nice to see 'an old girl' with the back doors smashed in......

  17. Rob this site could be better but I really do not know how. Thanks to you and all else who help to keep this running so smooth. It takes up a lot of my time but i love it.
