Simons Mk1 #110 Restoration. Dyna Mini coils now added with Taylor Ht Leads, these fit using the std mounting brackets, just need slightly longer bolts. Tidy job me thinks.
your restoration inspired me to do a job I have wanted to do for a while.. corse style clutch housing... really pleased with it all, Thanks to Mr. R for the excellent machining job, I have made it gloss as I am one for the bling
Hi, I'm thinking of making my 95 900ss look like the 91/92 models, white frame and wheels, that years 900 colour scheme just looks really good to me. Anyway, what is the right white colour please? Is is more of satin white, not full on gloss or matt white. Thanks Rich

I took the valves out over the wekend to clean etc, lots of play in both exhaust valve guides. Decided to replace these myself. I have oredred some new duke ones at the first oversize +.003. Took out the rocker arms , they slid out using one of my spare Suzook (M5) fairing bolts. Then heated the head up squirted some oil around the guide , selected a drift and lump hammer , put leather gloves on and bashed the old guides out (No dramas) here both came out a treat. Now waiting for the new ones to arrive.
Pic of Head with Drift ( to knock out the old guide) I heated using a propane torch and squirted oil top and bottom. View attachment 8273
