Benny snap .. Can do from design / pre press film making , hand splicing and painting out.. Platemaking . Could run and set up press up to 2 colour but I could print four colour through several passes. Trained guillotine operator ( kept me über fit lugging paper about before it was cut down!) Finishing could stitch , perfect bind , Fold , collate using machines or very fast by hand . How things have changed with the age of digital print .. The digital presses do most of it for you as big glorified Docu techs .. Collate fold , staple for you. I used to love pre press.. Especially laying out films .. Dropping in text and photos , shooting half tones and screens. However the last press I worked for was a mare. I got the job but wondered why Xmas cards up on the walls all year.. One of the printers said lift one up. When I did under each was a fist shaped hole!!! If people where not fast enough chairs would fly past your head . I think I was one of the longest bvvh
