all sorted. was air trapped at Master cylinder. Cracked banjo off a few times whilst pumping lever - sorted in 10 minutes. Thank you
it did drop but nowhere near enough to uncover the hole in the bottom of the res.
not tried that yet - was a bit worried in case the damn stuff went everywhere or that once seal was broke on the copper washers - it wouldnt seal...
