Grind it flat till your just about to hit the thread ,then try the chisel again, the grind will put some heat in it and give you something to hit,...
Been at it all day rockers are in, clearances on most of the shims were tight with the new openers, 400 grit wet & dry and oil on a sheet of glass...
Hoping to get some time this weekend and get the rockers in, fingers crossed shims will be a little on the tight side and can lap them down,...
