Did you find what it was. I have the same warning light since last night after a long ride. It sometimes goes away and then returns when I ride 110km and beyond.
Great. I’ll visit the service tomorrow and ask them to replace it. You were very helpful. I did a lot off road in dusty roads and that might have destroyed it.
It turned out it wasn’t the air sensor on my bike. It was a wire on the left side of the handlebars I think it’s the indicator cable. As I locked the handlebars facing right this cable stretched and probably lost contact inside the switch. I went to Ducati service and in 10 mins I was good to go and payed nothing. I hope this will help someone in the future if he faces the same issue.
Mine came on yesterday while riding to my dealer to have the Brembo brake recall service done on my '17 1200S Touring. Turns out it's the headlight module throwing errors. New module ordered under warranty. I'm told this bike has 5 separate computers controlling everything on it! I'm thinking an extended warranty is in my future!
This is what really annoys me about the bike. You should be able to see the codes on the dash, then you can self-fix (eg clean a contact or sensor) or ignore until next service if it’s not something to worry about. As it stands, you have to take it to a dealer, often Niels and weeks away to fit you in, then if it’s out of warranty possibly have a bunch of money to pay for what could have been done simply at home. Makes me consider moving mine on tbh
Hi I had the same warning light on& after the recall at the garage it has now gone. I pointed it out too them & along with the five recalls it was sorted, just sorry I can’t say exactly what it was, just worth a visit to the dealer.
