19.2 is a common problem on these ECUs as a lot of owners either try to jump start them or fit the battery backwards (easy to do on the 999 range!) and blow the ECU. I would personally be looking to try a spare ECU first otherwise you might be tearing your hair out trying to find an electrical problem that doesn't exist.

You're unlikely to get one with the immobiliser disabled already. You'll probably need to find one on ebay and then get someone like Chris to flash it with a map for your bike and hopefully disable the immobiliser too.
This one is a premium compared to others, but fits the bill (immobiliser disabled). https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/253430982215
Thanks to @chrisw the 19.2 is no more. A flashed replacement ECU has done the trick. Well, almost.... when I press the starter I get the solenoid click, and the fuel pump spins into life .... and then .... nothing. But making progress Dash comes up with a 4.1 & 37.3. After previously removing air temp sensor I managed to put it in the wrong toolbox, so frustratingly, can't refit it this evening
I have a 37.3 with my immo-off ECU but it still works fine, so try not to be misled by that, as it turned out to be a complete red herring in my case.
I read through one your old threads late last night, and was reassured that the 37.3 wasn't too much of a concern.
Yeah, must have been owned by Paddington bear at some point. Who was also using the tank as a swarf bin judging by the slurry A full service history followed by several years of neglect ..... hmmmmmm
