  3. Any company that thinks new employees shouldn't ask their managers anything, must either be putting on a really lengthy and in depth training course prior to sending them to outer space or idiots who don't know what they are doing.

  4. Jeez, if you think that not filling out that form is being rebellious and a fark you to the government......I can assure you it has 0% difference in what they already know and store about you. Think about how many data points we use daily that are stored, as well as CCTV, ANPR, bank card usage.....

If you want scary, most people walk around with a tracking device in your pocket that can record and give people your exact, to the metre, location over the past 6-12 months.

Here’s an image of software that certain people use to track people. Each dot is a mobile. When you pinpoint what phone you’re tracking, you can see where they have been, what floor they have been on and what other phones they have been close to or RV’ing with. What’s even scarier is that it’s around a 30 second delay from real time.

  9. You were testing your eyesight. :upyeah: That timeline thing is quite intrusive isn’t it? If you get to your destination at a slower pace it decides that you cycled there, or walked there, sometimes erroneously.

  10. Hmm - but you do have to wonder if there is anybody on the Electoral Register with the surname
    XH558

Of course , you could change your name by Deed Poll ,
in fact you could even change your name to " Deed Poll "

    :):grinning::D

..... Did you hear about the bloke who couldn't afford personalised plates ?
He changed his name to NHK 295M

BTW - does anyone recognise that reg ?

  11. Good spot! What’s the answer??

  12. That got me. I filled it in as soon as received during the week. And then they ask who is staying here on the 21st. I said nobody, rather than I don't f***king know! Also, they decided that I was working when I am not and went on about employment. It seems that I took a wrong turn without any reverse gear.

Not that I care. I did it and didn't lie.

  13. His Christian name is Vulcan.

  14. Hypothetical question, what if everyone in the UK refused to fill in and return the forms.
They could not jail us all.

  15. I wondered how I knew what mode of transport. It also looks like if you stay a bit then it labels it as 'spent time at the...)

  16. 'Put your trousers on, your nicked!'
'Were the Sweeney, and we haven't had any dinner', etc...

  17. Just fill it in and be honest about it. As said, it is used by many government departments to help plan ahead. It is just collecting data for your benefit.

if you are fearful of data protection, the census is the least of your problems.
