Think about how many data points we use daily that are stored, as well as CCTV, ANPR, bank card usage..... If you want scary, most people walk around with a tracking device in your pocket that can record and give people your exact, to the metre, location over the past 6-12 months. Here’s an image of software that certain people use to track people. Each dot is a mobile. When you pinpoint what phone you’re tracking, you can see where they have been, what floor they have been on and what other phones they have been close to or RV’ing with. What’s even scarier is that it’s around a 30 second delay from real time.

Just fill it in and be honest about it. As said, it is used by many government departments to help plan ahead. It is just collecting data for your benefit. if you are fearful of data protection, the census is the least of your problems.
