Guzzidiag Writer only works with IAW5AM ECU. You can contact JP via http://jpl250rs.perso.sfr.fr/jpdiag/jpdiag.php Just type your question in the box where you would normally out the ECU data.

Hello Just to give a bit of information, i have had problems connecting to software when engine was running, luckily today after tb balancing and idle setting i have tried last time... the hardware manager chosen com port 16 for me(other usb socket port 13) just desperately changed com port for no 1 9advanced com settings) and voila! now i am able to do trimming. program stucks every couple of times but it works at least !!!
Try putting a USB hub between the Computer and the bike. Something like ADVENT HB112 4-port USB 2.0 Hub Deals | Pcworld It doesn't need to be powered and should solve the hanging issue. As for com port numbers, try to keep them under 10.
I have put 4 of different ones also made myself ferrite filters and to the cable with no results up to today. I am happy to hang up every now ant then as long as i can do something Could not even get tobtrimming menu before when the engine worked...
Old thread resurrection I've been using this thread to help me connect my ecu to jpdiag. My led illuminates as soon as plugged to usb I have a license type later ecu Everything is in French. So, do I have to solder across pins, why does this need to be done, and how do I number the pins? I have acquired the licence attached in an email, how do.i use it? Can jpdiag be set to.load in English? Cheers all.
The language problem is because you did not give the install .exe file admin rights. Look in the JPdiag folder for the .ini file. Open it in notepad and change Language to 1 from 0. See if that works. The WinChipHead lead needs pin 4 and 5 linking. These are both earths. There are pictures here JP Diag Gouge
