Here is Ducati dyno chart for the long V std header for the full Termignoni system 6500 + is where felt this power hit. Waiting to see if the roads dry out enough today for a proper road ride __________________ UK Expat 1199R Husaberg 550 SM Regretfully sold : Ducati 999R 05 MV F1000F4. The roads dried, dodging some dark clouds I went out for quick 50 mile ride, very nice improvement can really feel the increased power above 6500, more of animal than it was before. I ended up finding the limit of its minimal fuel range. If the yellow fuel light comes on you better either baby that throttle or hope the nearest fuel station is not more than 15 miles, I made it 18.2 before it spluttered & died. Next on my list Remove ABS, Spiegler or Fren Tubo brake lines & thumb rear brake Smog plates & SAS removal 24 deg steering inserts Thermostat removal - aluminum tube - Samco hose kit.
Not much happened recently, in the middle of buying a house + I have another completely different project going on simultaneously, however I did go with the MWR racing filter. Sounds better, hope that translates next time I ride it since we are still the in middle of winter / snow here. Anyway back to my shopping list ..,
I apologise for the banal question given the thread but are those Sato frame sliders? Do you have a close up of the one fitted on the left hand side of the bike please and did you have to mod anything to fit it? Thanks.
Winter & house purchase completed, couple months ago I installed the 24deg steering bushing inserts, which moves the front wheel rear wards approx 12mm then went to try out the bike only to melt and shirt out the + battery cable against the front STTK header, which killed the bike, lost 5 weeks at the dealer ending needing new chipped ignition switch, no blown fuses cost me $1200 labour & parts. The STTK header bends to the left within 25mm of the starter relay. Since then I have made a temporary fix by re routing the cable until I relocate relay battery & cables. Bike steers even quicker with no in stability, well worth the work Next replace triple clamps, picked up these used never installed Roby Moto's
Nice to see pictures of this as I got the dealer to do mine during the service. I was tempted to have a go myself but no idea what I'm doing and didn't want to practice on the Panigale whilst in it's guarantee still.
It's fairly straight forward their is a Raised L on each insert which obviously needs to be on the left side of the bike, however I made the mistake of inserting the lower bush 180 out had to remove and install correctly, nothing like doing the same job twice. PS I also double confirmed afterwards correct install with digital vernier, hole is offset around 1mm from center
BDS race switches installed, no control of headlight or horn, so I removed the horn, headlight is on fixed low beam, but you can flash the high beam with the set button
