Fcuk me .... good point 58 ! I was forgetting that..................arrrrrrr he'll be fine.............
Fuck me mate, that's a bit heavy...... Or, you could just wire it to the official Ducati accessory plug?
I dunno 58...... people come on here for a bit of advice .....then just do what they like ! Oh ..and I don't know him do you? so no it doesn't really matter... but what a waste of a good bike
Well I have decided now to put it in the accessory plug as the advice has been said (when am not working) but I did say that what ive done on my 749 (directed to the battery) and its been like that for the pass 5-6 years or so with no problems...
Well bugger me it's only taken all bloody night ... but fair dooos for saying...but it's the right way to go. I think now a bit of thanks or useful tags is due on some of the previous post for potentially saving a duke...don't you?
I, more of decided by the 1st near the top of 2nd page... Its just you... you love hearing your own drums better say something... to stop you playing them...
Well that's gratitude... fkuc you... Top of second page? That would be me then anyway bored with you now and i hope you get your wires crossed, and ya panels fall off from ya broken tabs, cos you've tried the wrong glue
Chargers contain things like transformers, that create a small draw even when not charging. Manufacturers have been told to get this draw lower that 1 watt for "green" purposes. That's still a drain on the battery though. That's why we wire to switched live.
Don't mean to be quite so pedantic, but the "one watt initiative" was turned into 0.5 watt in 2013 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Watt_Initiative
As to the panels, I normally do a complete panel off in the early spring to remove the crud from the winter, preparing for the summer but also allows me to look at the wiring connectors and apply acf 50.
Well at some point i will do a ratted ducati with rusty panels uncared look... ^^^ Like wise ^^^ (not going like everyone) Thats what i like to hear someone rides all year round...
I think you should start this thread again. How do i connect sat nav, Oh theres a little white plug to the left under fairing panel that Ducati kindly put there. Oh thanks for that. End. By the way the Garmin zumo, when you sw off ignition goes to sleep after 15 seconds. Let it or if you switch it off yourself you may loose the destination. When you put ign back on just agree to terms on screen & ride off. Back to destination. My mate kept switching his off & lost everything each time.
