Ah, ok, went over my head, but I was told 8h for the flash for the full system. Such BS.
I don't believe that at all. I've heard of a few dealers saying stuff like that (and for applying the up-map for a full system on my old 1260)....
Something I don't think has been mentioned... the full Akra system for the PP comes with an up-map, so you could consider that a money saving as...
If you're going from a sportsbike (like I did when I went initially to a 1260S and now to a V4 PP), I'd recommend the PP. You'll find it insanely...
It's amazing, you won't regret it. As for issues, some have had oil leaks (inc me) which have come from the water pump. See the thread in this...
I've got it and as others have said, it's more comfy than the stock seat; unlike the lowered seat I had on my 1260 which I used twice before going...
I think the other thing is.. if Ducati bring out a new map with a bugfix (like the injectors one recently), do BHP/Bren then backport those fixes...
Btw, if you spec heated grips (which you should), don't expect to see them any time soon. There's a huge shortage. Still waiting for mine and I...
Yep, radar is standard on the PP, don't worry. It's a great thing to have as mentioned above
I've never found the extra lighting necessary on my old 1260 or my V4. The cornering lights are excellent already. A lot better lights than any...
How easy is it to press the power button? I ask as the Givi/Ducati one is a little awkward as it overhangs the button (especially the newer 6l...
Not really sure what you're inferring by that comment. My point was more about how legitimate this is as an upgrade and how insurable it is. You...
OK, so just to clarify, whilst you had trouble insuring with the full system, the ECU map which is basically what this Brentune thing is, was not...
And how'd you insure that? You declare it as an "ECU flash"?
Sorry, misunderstood. Mike at Aylesbury is a good egg. Rare in sales.
They've never charged fitting for parts fitted to new bikes, even if the parts aren't official Ducati ones. They'll even fit full systems for free.
Wonder if that includes settling my rpm needle down. It does wobble a bit
Got a link (assuming there was more detail)?
I thought I read somewhere on this forum that it was about 1 litre!
Can you also post a pic? Would love to see how it looks on the bike!
