Had type 1 for 24 years. It's a change but you'd be surprised how flexible you can be. I don't know how they teach you to manage it from the start...

It's on 25K miles. Been well used which was one of the reasons I liked this bike. Serviced yearly, belts every 2 years and had 2 rockers replaced...
