I've had both an RSV4RF and an R1M and was quicker on track on the 1199. Might just be my riding style. Though the RSV with full akro was the best...
I always fit them and had two panis and no issues at service time. Cheapest 2kg you will ever shed from a bike.
I had my original 1199s flashed by http://www.cjsracing.co.uk/dyno_ecu_reprogramming.htm absolutely transformed the bike.
