I have the Ducati matt black tank protector. Well made and seems stuck on well enough. Goes well with the matt silver paint on my 1200S touring....

Bolts are 8mm metric thread, 30mm long.

My 1200S 2013 came with rear balance weights. Both wheels should be balanced IMO. Mixed reviews on Dynabeads. Some report very bad wheel shake...
Strava blanks out the area around your home address as a security feature. I use it for cycling, but not tried it on a bike.

Drill and lock-wiring would make sense, but it'd lower the resale value as people would think it had been raced.
The cylinder head cooling issues were fixed by a re-design on the 2013 bikes.
