Fit a carbon heat shield. It helps a lot!! The standard one is bloody worse than none at all!!

I went with the gilles vcr's on my 848. Pretty damn comfy, all the gubbins comes in the box, shitloads of adjustabillity, look sweet. Bit pricey...
