I put an R&G foot enlarger on and that has quite a fat base to it that raises the bike up a few mm when on sidestand.

I’ve sorted it. If you’re looking at the face of the female connector with the retaining clip at the top the red + cable is on the right.
OK, might try it with a chocolate block connector first to see which is which. Cheers
