I thought they were 1098s forks but the ncr spec list says oem Showa forks with ohlins internals, ncr billet fork stantions and ncr adjustable clamps!!! Also states wet slipper clutch where's the pics clearly show it's got a dry clutch! This bike doesn't appear anything like an ncr bike I do hope no poor bugger pays 25k for it.
Look at his web site and "chump" doesn't come close. He's got some of the "rarest" overpriced rubbish I've seen anywhere. Archetypal independent chancer. If I'm going to be kind, at best he's been taken in. If I'm not and he knows what he (hasn't) got, Trading Standards need to get involved. Was talking to a knowledgeable parts man and he couldn't see one bit of NCR stuff which couldn't be explained by his guff about modifying bikes in Belgium. Andy
I asked him that the bike pictured is minus, well pretty much all of the upgrades that the proper ncr 848 has apart from the sticker on the tank. I listed each part missing and requested documentation from ncr for the bike which i am pretty sure they give with each build. Can any chaps from belgium confirm that they have laws on modding etc as that sounds like drivel.
I suspect he is the chump who has been bummed and is now desperately trying to de-bum himself!
Would be interesting to know how much he paid for it if he can afford to just knock 5k off the price and still clearly making£???? Profit. Wouldn't be surprised if he's just paid normal price of an 848 + a bit for the goodies and is now trying to pass it off as an NCR bike! Re: tuning laws in Belgium they are very strict but wouldn't allow for some of the mods on this bike anyway and yet would allow some stuff on the proper ncr spec such as wet slipper clutch and fork internals etc. that this bike doesn't have.
I bet he's loving everyone from here phoning him up and giving him grief over the specific parts etc lol !
