Hi Steve, I’ve had one for a few years now, it worked fine on the pre 1260, but on my 1260 dvt it tends to lean out from the stand, a little bit unnerving, I remember when I first bought mine I had the same issue as you’ve experienced, Once you’ve lined the pin pin up get the longest bar you can on the centre locking nut & swing on to get it as tight as possible,
Thanks I'm being a bit thick. Can you explain that a bit more in terms of "get the longest bar you can on the centre locking nut & swing on to get it as tight as possible"? Sorry. The problem has got me stumped
when I bought my stand from 1 jac I had the same issue as you are having, I would line everything up perfectly & every time I lifted the bike of the ground the front wheel would stay on the ground, Chris at 1 jac told after setting the stand up get the 22mm bolt in the centre of the plate as tight as possible, I bought a 600mm strong bar 1/2 in drive from machine mart, pm me with a mobile number & I’ll go through it wit you.
