What are peoples thoughts on Frank Thomas - this fits nicely : FTL300 Xti 2 Special Edition Suit White Red Silver - Leather Suits - Clothing But not sold on the flexible armour. After my last set of FT didnt even stand up to a 30 mph spill, and the leather repairer refused to touch them given the lack of double stitching and lycra panels which had no reinforcement, I'd go the the RST or Spyke
See my reply to the post on 'leather mods?' For an outfit called hill4leather.com who could turn your two piece into a one piece for about £200. Though for not that much more you could get a decent new one piece... Just a thought.
I've got a man waiting for payment for the 2 piece dainese suit he's selling in the classifieds on here. What was your opinion on those? I offered him £500 He said they were 1400 new...
I just mean they must have been a high quality set of leathers. It's not that the price is an issue. I wouldn't have offered it if I wasn't willing to pay that much for them. I'm just curious as to whether people think they are a decent set of leathers or not. You can see the thread here
Even though they may have cost £1400 new (and I'm amazed anyone would pay that much) I'd not pay over £300 for them. But that's just me.
Have you checked eBay? there is loooooooads, and with a little bit of patience, you'll get a great deal. And I mean a really great deal!
